Our Message

Our message is simple, but a powerful truth. We believe in the power of God’s Word to transform lives. Signs For Jesus exist to reach out to those in need. We know from personal experience that God’s Word changes lives! Signs for Jesus brings the Bible to others, displaying a scripture a day, using road signs while integrating a website & webcam (evangelism), which will help plug newcomers into the local church body for the support they need (discipleship). As support for the ministry grows, the vision is to have an unlimited amount of signs in various locations nationwide. Many Americans today are finding themselves depressed, addicted, fearful, some even feeling completely hopeless. What does the wisdom of this world typically tell us? Usually it’s either turn to a pill or in other cases, some turn to alcohol or an illegal drug. It seems we have a prescription for anything and everything these days. So many today are seeking after the passing pleasures of this world as a way to numb themselves from the present pain, only to find it doesn’t satisfy beyond the moment. And when that fleeting moment has passed, finding themselves right back to where they started, or worse. Each time feeling more alone, more abandoned, only to start the cycle over again.

But the same can discover the one real hope for all mankind, a true hope that last, in the Word of God! God’s Word anchors us, points us to this hope, which is found only in Jesus Christ. God’s Word proclaims a different message then of the world, it’s the Gospel (almost to good to be true news) of Jesus Christ. We are not alone; we have not been abandoned; we do have someone we can turn too, His name is Jesus! Many ask, how do I find this Jesus? He is always been revealed in the unchanging Word of God; it is here we discover and experience His power to change and overcome in our life! Real lasting peace, true joy can only be found in Him! But how do people hear the good news of God’s Word, if they are not reading God’s Word?

You might even ask yourself, where is my Bible? For some it is tucked away out of sight or maybe it is neatly placed on a bookshelf. Sadly many Americans have a Bible in their home or access to one, but have rarely or possibly never opened it. Think about it! The most powerful book man has ever possessed, yet so many have never experienced for themselves God’s personal revelation to man. Why is that? I’ve wondered if many are like I was, just not understanding the power and wisdom that was right within their grasp, written in the Bible, God’s Word.

Signs for Jesus exist to bring the Bible to others, displaying a scripture a day, using strategically placed road signs. This is an opportunity for those who would not otherwise encounter God’s Word, to experience the truthfulness of His Word in their own lives! We envision a time when those reading the signs each day will encounter the “proverbial” spark, that ignites true faith in God. We envision the day when that faith is stirred into a passion to discover more of God’s Word for themselves. We envision a day when the Bible comes off the “book-shelve” and becomes an everyday part of our lives. We envision changed lives, changed communities, and ultimately a changed nation.

Romans 10:17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God

I support your work completely! There is not enough of sharing the Word of God now, and towns are just running scared of the “politically correct” and are afraid to put the Word out there for people to see it! Satan uses every device he can to try to defeat the army of God, but we know we already have the victory and are going to hold strong in the battle! We will be praying for you, brother! God bless you!

  2. JudyAutry says:

God bless you as you “fight the good fight” to bring into reality the vision which God has given you for bringing His Word to this confused world. I will be praying for you daily. Judy Autry

I have to attest, a few years ago my son was addicted to many, too easy to get, prescriptions drugs. He had been in the emergency room at the local hospital near death many times. It is a helpless and frightening experience to see your loved one so close to death and not be able to do anything to help him least he were to be spared by the grace of God. God, through his Word, has since spoke to my son and today and for the past few years is totally free of addition and is now in Honduras working with Christian ministry. He loves his life now mostly because he is serving God, spreading the good news of the saving grace and power of Christ Jesus. God bless you and your team in much success as you seek to do his glorified will.

  4. Moses W. Kirkland says:

I’m happy to see someone doing just what Ihave been wanting to do for a long time.
We need more people of faith getting involved in spreading the gospel.
I’d love to work with you to get a sign in my area.

I think your message is outstanding! May God’s providence be with you!

  6. Ty Wadley says:

Here in the U.S. where the minority apparently control what’s presented through the media it’s time for the majority of Christians to stand up for our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ! Is there anything I can do to assist you in Rockford, IL.?

    • fab.cusson@signs4jesus.com says:

Yes, I agree! It’s time for the Body of Christ to stand and be counted. We need to assemble and recognize the opportunies God gives us. You can help by donating to Signs4Jesus, however the Lord leads you, anything helps and it all go towards his advancing his Kingdom.

  7. Patricia Coddington says:

Thank you for bringing God back into our everyday life. I love reading these signs, as does my nine yr old. We are SO fed up with everyone being so politically correct and being, it seems, ashame to mention the name of God. God is our Lord and Savior. I remember, as a child, when it was Christmas, how everyone said Merry Christmas, and truly meant it. To this day, I REFUSE to dine in any establishment that will not say “Merry Christmas” or refuses to set up a Christmas tree. I urge my fellow-Americans to also refuse to dine in any establishment that refuses to say Merry Christmas or WILL NOT set up a Christmas tree. God Bless America!!!!

  8. Eileen says:

May the Lord truly bless you and your ministry. As Christians in a land that has been taken over by pagans, we need to stand up and fight. It is the fault of a Christian nation that has been asleep too long that our country is in this mess, however, we that are here must not been ashamed of the Gospel for it is the power of God unto Salvation. I am going to talk to my pastor and church board about your signs and we may be able to help. Once again, God Bless You.

    • fab.cusson@signs4jesus.com says:

Thank you, truly this is going to be a grass roots effort, community to community- an opportunity for the whole body of Christ to come together, to stand and be counted. We need help raising the funds to erect these signs , locating the land to place them and the wisdom to operate them. It all must be done in a manner the advances the Kingdom of God. May I recommend you read “the rest of the story” posted here on the site prior to talking to your board about Signs For Jesus. I am also scheduling visits with churches and to share the testimony in person. Blessings, Fab Cusson

God Bless you for taking a stand for Jesus!! I admire you so much for doing so! Satan is putting out in full force all his army to defeat christianity more everyday! And NOW more than ever we as christians have to fight and have our army and not be defeated by satan’s army! We are at war with the enemy! We are to be wise as serpents and harmless as doves! You will be in my prayers! More power to you! God Bless!

    Hi

I respectfully disagree with your initiative. Religion is a personal choice and that choice should be respected by all. Your initiative not only blatantly disrespects others who do not share your religious belief, but it is also extremely arrogant and rude.

    Thank you,

    Rich Bram

    • Douglas says:

      Rich,
Signs like these do nothing but share God’s word and his love. We need this right now more than ever.
There is nothing disrespectful, arrogant, or rude about it.
      Douglas

      • Rich Bram says:

        Douglas

Thanks for your reply…again, I respectfully disagree. First, religious signs prominently displayed are inherently disrespectful to those who don’t share that particular religious belief. For example, would you welcome the dissemination of signs that reflect a different religion’s doctrine…probably not. Second, it’s arrogant to think that belief in one religion trumps someone’s belief (or non belief) in another religion. Third, the dissemination of religious signs would be rude because all signs are detrimental to a pleasing environment.

        Thanks again,
        Rich

    • Wayne says:

I respectfully disagree with your comment. You label what this initiative is as RELIGION and that is where you are wrong. Religion is man made and to me has nothing to do with what this initiative is in this case. Fortunately there is something called Freedom of speech and to say this disrespects others shows me you don’t fully understand the purpose of this. I hope one day you will see the light and until then, May God have mercy on you!

      • Rich Bram says:

Wayne…to clarify, I labeled this as a religious initiative. When someone displays verses from the Christian Bible on signs, I believe that action can accurately be described as a religious initiative. Also, of course everyone enjoys Freedom of Speech in this country…this proposed action is legal as long as all statutes and ordinances are complied with.
        Thanks!
        Rich

    • Mark says:

Rich, I respectfully disagree with your disagreement. My oppinion is a personal choice that should be respected by all. Your disagreement not only blatantly disrespects others who do not share your beleifs, but is also extremely arrogant and rude. Get the point?

      • Rich Bram says:

        Hi Mark

I do get your point…but its way off the target. My disagreement is not an overt physical action…it is not comparable to putting up potentially disrespectful signs.

I believe all of you folks who support putting up these signs are well intentioned, but I do not understand why you will not acknowledge that these signs may be offensive to those who don’t share your religious belief.

        Anyway, thanks for your reply.
        Rich

  12. William Swygert says:

In this time of government becoming a “god” for the unchurched masses, it is good to see someone standing up for our strong faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Stand strong brother and when it’s time to put signs in SC. give me a call, I will help.

  13. Jeff Pate says:

I was so blessed to have seen this on Fox & Friends this morning. The Lord has given me a similar vision to purchase billboard space in cities all over, beginning in Greensboro, NC. You can learn more at: http://www.bovministries.net/gospelbillboard.html

Grace and peace to you… “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God unto salvation to them who believe…” [Romans 1:16]

“For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness and their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.” [Hebrews 8:12]

  14. Charity says:

I just want to let you know that i support what you are doing 100% I think the word of jesus needs to be spread world wide. Im 16 and i see at school how much my friends need God in their lives. Maybe these signs could help them. You never know. I pass a sign that reads “Don’t try church” – Satan. and i dont understand why that sign seems ok but if its about God or Jesus no one wants it? Why is it so easy to eccept the Devil but not God?

  15. Byron says:

I admire your efforts and applaud your boldness. I wish I owned a piece of property that would help your ministry. For those that believe that viewing a sign with a Bible verse is offensive, let me say this. As a born-again Christian, I am deeply offended by the constant barrage of signs that advertise alcohol (which according to the CDC, kills over 75,000 Americans annually) men’s clubs and adult bookshops (which leads to addiction to pornography). Did you know according to the United Families International, there are over 116,00 web searches for child pornography every single day? You bring me one single person that being an alcoholic made them a better person. You bring me one single person where alcohol has mended a broken family. You bring me one single person where being addicted to pornography has helped make them a better person. Bring me just one…, and I will bring you thousands that have accepted the Lord Jesus Christ and have mended their broken homes, straightened out their shattered lives, and enriched their lives and families. So, let’s knock off the “I’m offended by a Bible verse” non-sense, that’s just a crutch.

    • Rich Bram says:

Byron…how very quick you are to characterize someone else’s point of view as nonsense. Please let me try to explain exactly why these signs may be offensive to those that don’t share your Christian belief. First, Biblical verses are prescriptive or directive in nature…they are viewed by those who believe as being the ultimate authority. Those that would prominently display these verses would be trying to send a clear message to all viewers that they are invited to follow or comply with this ultimate authority. The disrespect here, is that they are also sending a not so hidden message that the Bible is the only “real” ultimate authority. Many, many other people would strongly disagree.

I know that those of you who support these signs are well intentioned, but I hope you folks can appreciate that there is a valid, no-nonsense, opposing point of view.

      Thanks
      Rich

  16. Bertina says:

Just wanted you to know that I will be praying and supporting God’s cause for the signs to be put up. I’ve seen all kinds of signs that offend me all the time and because of legal issues, there is nothing that I or anyone else can do. It is good to see people like you standing up and presenting God’s Love to the world. “Satan is putting out in full force all his army to defeat christianity more everyday!” Go, Rita. So, thanks for taking a stand for Jesus Christ.

As Christians, we are compelled to share the Love of Christ with the world. The real love of God compels us to love the unloveable. 1 Corin. 9:16-19 and Mark 16:15-20

Billboards and signs are either accepted or rejected everyday and no one says very little about it most of the time. But let someone put forth God’s Love to a dying sinful world then those that do not understand spiritual things (1 Corin. 2:14-16) cry foul the loudest. This is not a judgment statement but a spiritual statement in love to those that do not have the eyes to see, nor ears to hear at this time.

Remember, life is all about the choices we make. I make the choice to read signs 4 Jesus. That does not mean that the sign is being crammed down your throat because you do not want to read it. I do not read or acknowledge a lot of magazines and books. At least I have the choice to say no I do not want to read that. You want to take away my choice because of what you feel. Real love (Charity) for mankind is not selfish (1 Corin 13:4 and 5.

  17. A. Shadowborne says:

I think you should just abandon the idea. I’m personally glad you’re having issues putting the signs up your hometown since that means I don’t have to worry about it in mine.

These signs, though “well intended”, are going to litter the landscape and wreck the scenery of any area they are put in.

Besides, contrary to your belief, christianity is not as popular as you think.

  18. Non-Christians have argued again and again, they dislike being inundated by Christianity promotion. Many points can be made in defense, including- 1. I don’t like TV advertisements, so I mute them. The fact that most Americans are Christians is just the way things are, accept it and move on. 2. Advertisements are everywhere, if you really truly disbelieve, then you should be able to ignore the warnings of hell, without a problem. Your inner Soul may be nudging you to believe, and you may be angry that you live in a Christian oriented society. Nobody’s life is perfect. You may think that we are arrogant. Please try to understand that an important part of Christianity is our belief that Jesus asks us to promote his message of salvation, and we are just following our belief. I have to add that, if there were no judgement day, then what incentive do non-believers have to act with compassion for others, etc. I personally don’t know how to quell the non-believers irritation at our signs, etc. other than what I have stated here. I’ll give you this- the universe is such a wonder, that however it got started, the reasons are mind boggling- It’s really no giant leap to go from being in awe of its origin, to believing in Jesus Christ as the son of God.

    • Rich Bram says:

      Hey Inspiration Lover
Thanks for at least acknowledging that the proposed signs may an irritation to others…I respect your consideration and honesty.

You mentioned a comparison to other advertisements…I would like to make the point that such advertisements are usually about tangible items the benefits of which can be objectively evaluated or analyzed…in contrast, these proposed signs are about a belief system that cannot be objectively analyzed, evaluated or proven…this is a huge difference.

      Again, thanks for your honesty.
      Rich
