Word for Life

God’s message reveals the new creation that is coming forth. The Book of Revelation declares the New Heaven and the New Earth. This earth is surely passing away, and God will make all things new. The new Kingdom shall have no end; there will be no sorrow, no death, and no sin. God has promised, given His Word, that all are invited; but He also said, you must be born-again. Jesus answered a religious man’s question saying, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God (John 3:3).” He added, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God” (John 3:5). The Apostle Paul confirmed Jesus’ message explaining to the Church, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new” (2 Corinthians 5:17).

Even the created world around us declares God’s message; life springs forth out of death. This earthly life is short-lived; like a flower that blooms and then withers away. So many enjoy the years of the blossom, but then begin to see the effects of growing old—death waits for all. However, the final message an the real hope rests in God’s encouragement to all everywhere, choose life; and this life is in the Son of God. The Bible declares, “He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God” (1 John 5:12-13).

God calls for everyone to believe on Christ Jesus; that is, to trust in Him and know Him. He promises eternal life to whosoever calls upon His name; that’s what Signs4Jesus is all about. Signs4Jesus reaches out with the Word of God through a simple sign to stir faith; to motivate people to call upon Christ, and believe unto salvation.

The Word for Life

Having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever (1 Peter 1:23).

Please send me what pasages you read when you fought off your addiction. I need God’s hand upon me instead of these poisiones I’m taking. Thank, God bless.

Marc, I can provide you with some scriptures that were especially helpful to me but first I need to say I began reading the Bible on page one. The absolute first thing you need to remember is faith in Jesus is where your new life starts. Reading God’s Word causes faith to stir, that faith will then draw you closer and deeper. As you draw near to Jesus, you will receive his strength and his spirit to overcome. I don’t want you to think that there is a few certain scriptures that will just do it for you. The danger is this, If you are trying to address the addiction without first adressing your faith you will have missed the power of God to change you and just be left more frustrated. You must began reading his word daily, also developing a personal relationship with Jesus through prayer. I know this, if you read his word; pray and seek after him, you will find him and he will answer you and he will show you great and might things.

I love this saying my Pastor quotes often: Jesus will meet you were you are (addicted & undeserving) and he will take you to where he is (free and forgiven).

Please send me an email at fab.cusson@signs4jesus.com with your mailing address and I will send you a free copy of my book The Faithful God, it is my entire testimony from start to finish (with scriptures) on how God delivered me for these drugs.

I will keep you in my prayers, Fab

    Hi Marc,

Jesus’ healing power is very real! The answer is not always yes, right away. Sometimes it’s no, wait. Having said that, I’ve seen amazing healing take place thru continued prayer. God wants a relationship with each of us and he does not want us to suffer. It starts by believing the awesome healing power in the name of Jesus. Ask everyone you know to pray for you and then when you see the little steps of improvement, tell everyone and give the glory to God!

I will pray for you Marc. Please keep us updated!

p.s. Fab mentions to read the Bible, YES! I’d start with the gospels, John is a great place to start. Pray before you read for the Holy Spirit to guide you thru the scriptures then stop and pray when something seems to be speaking to you. It’s not about how quickly you can read the chapter but what God is trying to tell you. You may only get thru one paragraph in a day but it’s important to meet God daily! You’ll find MANY instances of Jesus healing power as you read. 🙂 God Bless!
